The incident occurred last month at the rapper's home.

Bun B and his wife Angela "Queenie" Walls appeared on the Breakfast Club to discuss the shootout that occurred at their house in Houston last month after a masked man entered their home and attempted to rob them.

The intruder, identified as DeMonte Jackson, was reportedly trying to steal Queenie's car and held her at gunpoint. Upon trying to take Queenie's car, which was an Audi, a shootout occurred between Jackson and Bun B, resulting in Jackson getting hit.

Speaking to the Breakfast Club group, Queenie recalled opening the door believing that it was a delivery from UPS or Amazon, only for Jackson to burst into the home.

"At the moment it was unreal because we had just made it home within 20 minutes," she said. "I didn't want him to take me into that bedroom and rape me, do whatever he wanted to do."

"Unfortunately I wasn't the one that had to confront him in the moment, she was," Bun added. "I'm so proud of her not only for how she handled herself, but...her only thought was to protect me, because in the moment, her assumption is this person is coming to get me. She [didn't] know it was a random act at the time, so she thinks this person is coming to kill me. So she's like I need to hold this person here until Bun can get to the gun. And even if he kills me, I know Bun can kill him."

Queenie also revealed that during the incident the intruder heard Bun B coming and told Queenie to tell him not to come downstairs. Upon saying Bun's name and warning him, Queenie said that Jackson was "startled" and that "he don't know where he at." It was then that Jackson asked Queenie for the keys to her car, which she had offered him initially just so he wouldn't take her to the bedroom.

"She's the hero because if she didn't stall him out I [wouldn't have] gotten to the pistol," Bun said.

The conversation does end on a happy note though, with Bun speaking favorably about Avengers: Endgame.

Jackson has since been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one count burglary.
