On Wednesday, Sónar Festival in Barcelona released a statement from the rapper's management saying that he would no longer be able to attend not just Sónar but other European tour dates he was scheduled for this month.
"A$AP Rocky is being detained in a Swedish jail for an unknown period of time for acting in self-defense during an altercation that took place," the statement reads. "Due to this unfortunate situation he is forced to cancel his European festival and tour dates in July."
Sónar is now trying to find a replacement for Rocky, who was set to perform at the music festival on Friday, July 19.
Recently, the governor of the Swedish prison where Rocky is being held refuted claims that the prison was "inhumane" and "was like walking into a toilet."
Fredrik Wallin, the governor of the Kronoberg prison, said that it's in "good condition."
Rocky remains detained as authorities investigate the fight that occurred between Rocky and his entourage, and two men that he claimed kept following them in Stockholm.
