The Compton rapper caps a new U2 single with some hopeful prayers and bible verse
When Kendrick Lamar released the tracklist for his 2017 album, DAMN., more fans than not scratched their heads when they noticed U2 as a featured artist on the explosive late-album cut "XXX."
In an interview that followed the release of DAMN., Lamar revealed that the song was absorbed into his project once it became clear that his vision of the track with "a certain type of 808" was a better fit for the To Pimp a Butterfly follow-up.

Today, the iconic Irish rock outfit return the favor, sharing their new single "Get Out of Your Own Way," featuring a sermon-like finale from Kung Fu Kenny. The track arrives as the latest single off their upcoming fourteenth studio album, Songs of Experience, due out on December 1st via Island/Universal.
