Shannade Clermont, who is one-half of the Instagram famous Clermont Twins with sister Shannon, is accused of stealing and using two debit card to pay for bills, clothes, and more "fraudulent purchases," and was charged with wire fraud, access device fraud and aggravated identity theft, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.

She is also accused of creating a fake email address in April 2017, to fraudulently transfer $1,000 of his money to herself, via Western Union.

The incident stems back to January 31, 2017, when Clermont visited the man at his apartment for a "prostitution date," the day before his corpse was discovered in his Manhattan apartment. The pair had agreed to $400 for their encounter according to text messages obtained by prosecutors.

The man, only referred to as the "victim," died from a drug overdose.

"As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member of the Bad Girls Club, lived up to her reality series reputation," U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman said. "She allegedly stole debit card information from a man found dead – the victim of a drug overdose – in his Manhattan apartment and used his identity to make tens of thousands of dollars in fraudulent purchases. Thanks to the skilled investigative work of the NYPD, Clermont's new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct."

Clermont faces more than 20 years in prison if convicted. Hours after her arrest the model was released on $100,000 bond.

The 24-year-old and her sister had served as two of West's muses and starred in multiple Yeezy campaigns.
