Watch the New Trailer for Season Three of 'The Mandalorian'

Ahead of its March 1 release, Disney Plus has unveiled the epic trailer for season three of Star Wars spinoff The Mandalorian.

The trailer for season three of Disney Plus epic The Mandalorian has arrived. On Monday night (January 16) during the NFL Wild Card Game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the trailer for The Mandalorian debuted, promising a premiere date of March 1.

The series, led by Pedro Pascal, will arrive just months after season one of fellow Pascal show, HBO's The Last of Us, which premiered on Sunday (January 15).

"If he is stepping into a leadership position, he’s reluctant to do so," Pascal told Total Film last July about his portrayal of Din Dajrin/The Mandalorian. "I don't think that there's anything more interesting than a character being forced into discovering what they're capable of, and who they are."

The official season three trailer shows Djarin asking "What are we? What do we stand for?" before continuing a soliloquy on venturing the galaxy and heading to Mandalore to be forgiven for his "transgressions."

“Being a Mandalorian’s not just learning about how to fight,” Din says to Grogu in the trailer. “You also have to know how to navigate the galaxy. That way, you’ll never be lost.”

At the trailer's conclusion, a extraterrestrial being pounces before Grogu, who fights off the encounter.

The series also stars Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. Lucasfilm has confirmed that directors involved for the eight-episode season three include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
