Robert Glasper's Chris Brown-Inspired "Who the f*** is Robert Glasper?" T-Shirt Sells Out

Robert Glasper has sold out of a t-shirt pointed at Chris Brown after the Black Radio III musician won Best R&B Album at the 2023 Grammys.

Robert Glasper played up Chris Brown's harsh reaction to the Black Radio III artist winning Best R&B Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards earlier this month. On Monday (February 13), the 44-year-old Houston native announced that his t-shirt, which included the phrase, "Who the f*** is Robert Glasper?" has sold out.

As previously reported, Brown asked the question when Black Radio III defeated his tenth studio album, Breezy (Deluxe), in the Best R&B Album category. The 33-year-old artist continued to unleash explicitly-worded Instagram updates towards Glasper before DMing the musician an apology.

“Congratulations my brother.. I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys,” Brown wrote, also acknowledging that he “came off really rude and mean.”

He added, “After doing my research I actually think [you're] amazing. The organization isn’t doing us Blacks our due diligence. You and I should never be in the same category. Two totally different vibes and genres. So from one Black man to another congratulations. Hope you are able to feed your family for life. God bless my G."

But Glasper seemed to roll with the punches with his limited-edition t-shirts.

"Thanks for the support,” Glasper wrote in an Instagram post. “A portion of the proceeds from this shirt will be donated to the Community Music Center of New Orleans. A nonprofit created to share the music culture and music education in New Orleans, providing free music lessons to underserved youth. I can’t thank y’all enough for supporting this cause.”

Artist featured on Black Radio III are H.E.R., Common, Ty Dolla $ign, Q-Tip, Killer Mike, Musiq Soulchild, Jennifer Hudson, Posdnous of De La Soul and more.
