Pharrell Williams is auctioning off a collection of his luxury goods. To launch JOOPITER, his new digital-first auction space and content platform, the 13-time Grammy winner will unveil his 52-piece capsule Son of Pharoah. Containing luxury goods that the artist has collected for two decades, pieces in the capsule include a 18K gold Blackberry, a Jacob & Co. N.E.R.D. Brain Pendant chain from ‘04, a Alpinestars "Womens Rights" Motorcycle Jacket. and more.

In a Financial Times profile, Williams shared his vision for the digital auction website.

“There’s not really one size fits all,” he said about the current landscape of online auction platforms. “I’m not going to sell furniture on StockX. You know what I’m saying... I’m not going to sell, you know, 20-plus-carat diamond rings on [The] RealReal.”

He added, “Spiritually it’s a very rich experience, an enlightening experience, to let… stories go."

Pharrell also shared more details about JOOPITER in a press release, saying: "The idea behind JOOPITER is to embrace the energy that is released when objects change hands, and to respect the value that’s been created around these objects. JOOPITER is a new platform for myself and for my fellow curators, one where existing and future generations of collectors can feel welcome to take part in this exchange."

The collection will be available to view by appointment only in New York on October 14 and 15. Proceeds from the auction house will go toward Black Ambition in their goal of further benefiting Black and Latinx creators.
