Watch The First Full Trailer For Jordan Peele's 'Twilight Zone' Reboot
The show will hit CBS’ streaming service on April 1.
Although the minute-and-a-half trailer is pretty cryptic it just show some of the talent that will be featured in the show including Tracy Morgan, Sanaa Lathan, Steve Yeun, Adam Scott and Peele himself (among others).
The original Twilight Zone was created by Rod Serling in 1959. Peele will be taking on episodes from the original show, most notably the episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.” The remake, which will be titled “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet,” will feature Scott in the same role William Shatner did in the original. Shatner portrayed a man who’s traveling by plane and begins to lose his mind as he sees a creature on the outside of the plane. To make matters worse, Shatner’s character is the only one who can see the creature.
Peele has previously spoken on carrying the legacy of the Twilight Zone in his reboot.
“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours,” he said. “I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.”
