2 Dope Queens is headed to the small screen

As HBO attempts to reclaim the favor of the masses in the wake of their imminently offensive Confederate blunder, the not-just-TV network is still stacking its program with top-shelf talent.

Today, they announce Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson's hit podcast, 2 Dope Queens, is being adapted into a four-part hour-long series for the network. According to a press release, it's slated to debut at some point next year. The news arrives as Williams' new film The Incredible Jessica James picks up steam on Netflix, while Robinson joins Broad City's Ilana Glazer on the road for their YQY tour ahead of the hit Comedy Central show's new season.
