On Monday afternoon, Gucci Mane took to Instagram to announce the impending release of the “The Gucci Mane Guide to Greatness.” The book–written with the help of Soren Baker–will presumably help fans not get lost in the sauce.
“I live by the principles in this book,” Gucci said in a statement. “I wanted to write this book to give you a tool set. This book should touch people who are going through something. It’s not going to be easy. But study these words, and put them into action.”
The book will be Gucci’s third significant foray into the literary world. In 2017, he released The Autobiography of Gucci Mane. Former XXL editor Neil Martinez-Belkin co-authored the book during Gucci’s most recent prison stint. In September 2017, he joined his favorite author–Malcolm Gladwell–at the YouTube offices in Manhattan for a discussion.
“I want this book to keep you motivated,” he continued, “I want you to keep coming back to it for guidance and inspiration. You can put it on your shelf and keep going to The Gucci Mane Guide to Greatness. This book is a challenge. Don’t underestimate yourself…don’t think you can’t achieve the impossible.”
The Guide to Greatness is being published via Simon and Schuster. Preorder a copy on Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, or Rakuten today.
