The second annual CultureCon is going down in New York City this weekend.

There's not a lot of spaces where young black creatives can gather, network, learn, and, most importantly, have some fun.

That's why we're grateful for CultureCon, a one day conference dedicated to empowering young people of color and their creative passions. (Editorial note: Okayplayer is a media partner with CultureCon.)

The conference, which is powered by The Creative Collective NYC, is in its second year. This year's conference will feature a stacked lineup of speakers; those attending will hear from activists, entrepreneurs, and artists.

Famous speakers will include recent EGOT member John Legend, DerayCharlemagne tha God, Remy Ma,Nick Cannon, photographer Tyler Mitcher, Anglea Yee, and so much more.

Tickets, which were $150, are sold out. If you were one of the lucky ones to get a ticket, you'll get access to more than 50 speeakers, workshops and an invitation to the #CreativeAF after party (where there will be a open bar.) Plus there will be breakfast, lunch and light snacks provided throughout the conference.

If you weren't able to get tickets, don't fret. You'll be able to watch Legend's speech live on our Facebook page at 4:00 PM EST.

Imani Ellis, who founded The Creative Collective NYC, talked to Huffington Post about the event, saying:

We wanted to really create a day conference that was literally curated by us. It was for us. It was by us. We didn’t need a translator because we were our own audience.
