Big Tigger Steps Away from His Atlanta Radio Show
The V-103 host made the announcement amid aggravated battery charges, and just days after his former cohost filed a federal defamation suit against Big Tigger's estranged wife.

Radio host Big Tigger is stepping away from his show as he fights charges stemming from a domestic incident. He made the announcement on social media. Tigger, born Darian Morgan, has hosted The Big Tigger Morning Show on V-103 since 2020. In June, WSB-TV reported that Morgan was arrested on aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children charges for allegedly assaulting his wife, Alicia Brown, while their son was present in the home.
He was later released on a $10,000 bond.
It was reported that Morgan was arrested following an argument with Brown in their bedroom over texts from a female co-worker. Brown accused Morgan of grabbing her from behind during an argument, causing her to fall into a doorway and leaving a laceration above her eye that required stitches. The cruelty to children charge followed because the couple’s son overheard the altercation.
In a statement posted to Instagram late Sunday night, July 5, he announced that he’s stepping away from The Big Tigger Morning Show to focus on his family.
“For as long as I’ve been in this industry, my focus has always been to keep the spotlight on the culture and the incredible people I get to interview.
But right now, my personal life is in the public eye and has become the subject of overwhelming speculation and misinformation. Through all of this, what hurts the most is being away from my son. Nothing is more important to me than being a great father.
So I’ve decided to step away from the mic for a while to focus on my family and give my legal team the room they need. As I previously said, I unequivocally deny every allegation, and I am looking forward to clearing my name. Thank you so much all for the love and support.”
The announcement comes after a federal defamation lawsuit was filed against Brown by Morgan's V-103 co-host, Francesca Amiker. The four-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and former 11Alive anchor joined the Big Tigger Morning Show in May. She filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia alleging Brown knowingly made false statements on social media that Amiker was having an affair with Morgan. Amiker also alleges Brown falsely implied she was responsible for injuries Brown displayed in an emotional Instagram video.
