The Visions' "Oceans" Is Here To Wash Away Your Worries
The Visions' "Oceans" Is Here To Wash Away Your Worries

The Visions Share Warm, Buoyant New Single "Oceans"

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

New year, new heat from The Visions. Last we caught up with the Brooklyn-based three-piece, they were dipping into the pop anthem pool on their wistful release "White Dress." Today, they drop into wavy r&b territory on the new single "Oceans."

Driven by snaps and kung-fu-claps, warm synths swell this buoyant groove, as drummer and songwriter, Michael Shugarman, steps to the forefront with visceral, stream-of-consciousness romantics. The result is a brief, yet potent stankface-inducing suite that'll have your neck in a knot in no time at all. The track arrives as another taste of what's to come from their upcoming, currently-untitled EP. But if the getting's this good, we're happy to wait.

Until then, flood your earholes with a free stream of the latest from The Visions down below. Be sure to stay tuned for the next transmission and if you need to hold yourself over, revisit their Wishing Well EP on Bandcamp.
