The Paul Brothers, Jai and A.K., have maintained their status as one of music's most reclusive sets in the years since their leaked debut. And though they've remained as enigmatic as any presence in the game, they do show a sign of life every once in a while. A.K., in particular, has blessed cuts from Miguel ("FLESH") NAO ("Trophy") and Jones ("You") -- not to forget his own solo single "Landcruisin" -- while Jai's been a seldom sighting in music or elsewhere.
Today at least one of the brothers, A.K., has resurfaced on an electric new single from London singer, HIRA. The song "Eve" is about as purple and paisley-drenched as they get; a mid-tempo ballad with all the Prince-ly trimmings. And just in time for summer, no less. You can hear that down below. Whether this falls into The Paul Institute's incubation program has yet to be determined, as their only official release is still A.K.'s solo scorcher, but time will tell. Hold tight for updates from A.K. Paul and HIRA in the weeks and months ahead. Get a crash course in all things HIRA on the singer's Soundcloud page.
