In 2000, after two years of pushbacks and delays, Slum Village — then made up of T3, Baatin and J Dilla — released their sophomore album Fantastic, Vol. 2. The album was an instant underground classic.
Now, almost 18 years later, a new version of the album exists.

Slum Village has just released The Lost Scrolls, Vol. 2, an album showcasing 11 lost demos and remixes straight from the basement. The dates on the songs range from the three year period from 1996 to 1999. The songs are being released now to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the group finishing the album.
