M.I.A.’s New Album 'AIM' Is Out Now

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Friday, September 9th is here which means M.I.A.'s new and supposed ( hey you never know) final album AIM is out for you and yours to stream. The project has features from SkrillexDiploBlaqstarr, and former One Direction member ZAYN.  AIM includes the previously released tracks “Bird Song,” (two versions in an apparent ode to Frank Ocean) "Finally,” “Go Off,” and “Freedun.” The release of AIM has a bit of a rocky history. An album was initially promised for July which didn't come. M.I.A. then took to Twitter to air some grievances, expressing her frustration with American artists jacking her steez and even threatening to leak the album. Well the drama is behind us and the album is here. I'm sad to see M.I.A. step away from releasing any more records but can't be mad considering all the classics she's blessed us with, a catalog that spans five studio albums. But hey, maybe some loosies? Scroll down to stream AIM via Apple Music and stay tuned for any more M.I.A. related news.
