Conway the Machine, Method Man Link Up For "Lemon"

The track is the first release from the new Conway project.

Griselda Records is keeping its foot on the gas. With another month, comes another release. On Tuesday, Conway the Machine dropped his new track "Lemon' featuring Method Man. The track will appear on his forthcoming project From King to a GOD. The project is set to drop on Friday, September 11.

The Langston Sessoms-directed video features a cameo from N.O.R.E. and is dedicated to the memory of Griselda's longtime producer and DJ, DJ Shay.

The project comes on the heels of two collaborative Conway projects in 2020 alone. This past May, he dropped No One Mourns the Wicked with Big Ghost Ltd, and in April he teamed up with The Alchemist to drop the LULU EPFrom King to a God will reportedly feature production from DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, Alchemist, and more. Expect guest appearances from the usual suspects as well.

Along with half brother Westside Gunn, it's been a prolific year for the Buffalo collective. In 2020 alone, Gunn's dropped FLYGOD is an Awesome God II and Pray for Paris. In coming weeks, he plans to release his debut album on Shady Records, Who Made the Sunshine. The album was originally set to be released on August 28th, but after the death of DJ Shay, Gunn decided to delay its release.

"We'll be figuring out a date soon," he wrote on Instagram, "and I'll keep u posted...WSG Day is still 8/28 and I'll be celebrating the Legend Shay life with the ppl who's been there since day 1."
