Anderson .Paak’s career has a rich record of strong collaborations. Whether he is tapping into throwback tempos with Bruno Mars as Silk Sonic, to bending spacey grooves with Flying Lotus, to trading studio magic with Dr. Dre, .Paak thrives when he’s creating alongside others. Even the recent news of his musical pairing with Mariah Carey have only further showcased the power of his connections.
Now, .Paak is adding another unexpected name to his list of partners: GOAL Projects, the new initiative from global soccer media brand GOAL. Together, they’ve launched a limited-edition collection of jerseys, tees, and soccer balls designed not just for the culture but for the community; proceeds from the drop will fund the Oxnard Eagles, a girls’ youth soccer club in .Paak’s hometown in California and founded by farmworker Victor Garcia that has been giving children from immigrant and working-class families a chance to play the game.
“GOAL pulled up with this idea to mix soccer, culture, and community, and I was like ‘say less!’” .Paak tells OkayPlayer. “Music has always been my way to connect with people, and soccer does the same thing. So we dreamed up a collection that made a real impact.”

Linking Up With the Next Generation

.Paak’s collaborations are always focused on the bigger picture, which is why GOAL Projects centers the Oxnard Eagles, who will take the field in their upcoming season in gear he co-designed.
“Man, it means everything,” Paak says. “Those girls are a ray of sunshine. I went out there and spent a day with them. Seeing them play in gear we designed together all season long, knowing every jersey sold helps them get through the season — it’s bigger than sports. It’s about showing them they’re seen, they’re supported, and they’ve got a whole community rooting for them.”
The partnership with GOAL and the support from his Brandon Anderson Foundation extend the work .Paak has always done through .Paak House: investing in the next generation and making sure kids feel celebrated.
Whether he’s in the studio with legends or playing festival stages around the world, .Paak carries Oxnard with him. Like his albums Oxnard and Ventura, this collaboration pays tribute to his hometown.
“Oxnard & Ventura raised me. Every drum I hit, every show I play, it’s got a piece of my hometown in it,” he says. “Anytime I can create opportunities for the next generation, especially in the same neighborhoods I grew up in, I’m doing it. This project is just one more way of planting seeds so more kids can dream big.”

When Music Meets Soccer
For .Paak, collaboration has always meant pushing boundaries, and blending music with soccer is no exception.
“Soccer and music speak every language, no translation needed. They bring people together across borders, across struggles. When you put them side by side, it’s powerful,” he explains. “A collab like this isn’t just about jerseys — it’s about access, opportunity, and unity. If a kid in Ventura County can feel that same energy that a fan in Brazil or Ghana feels when they hear a beat or see a goal, then we’re doing something right. That’s how change starts.”
It’s the same logic that makes a Silk Sonic record slap in Seoul or São Paulo: .Paak understands that rhythm and joy travel further when they’re shared.

The Drop at .Paak House
.Paak House is the living embodiment of collaboration. The festival has hosted Smokey Robinson, The Isley Brothers, Raphael Saadiq, Smino, and Schoolboy Q among others, seamlessly blending both musical generations and genres.
The 2025 edition takes place October 11 at California State University, Channel Islands, and doubles as the in-person debut for the GOAL collection. Fans can expect live performances, food, art, surprise guests, and the same family-first atmosphere .Paak has cultivated since its inception.
“.Paak House is my love letter to the people,” he says. “We bring in music, food, arts, culture, and make sure everybody — from kids to grandparents — gets a VIP experience. This year, we’re keeping that same spirit but going even bigger. Special guests, surprise performances, and of course the jersey drop.”

Always Cooking, Always Collaborating
Even as he teases new music — “You know me, I’m always cooking” — .Paak makes clear that his biggest collabs aren’t only with producers or pop stars. They are with and for the children of Oxnard, with the communities he uplifts, and with the cultures he connects.
“I’m stoked to help the Oxnard Eagles girls’ soccer team get the gear they need to play, shine, and have fun,” he says. “Giving back to my community and seeing these kids light up — that’s what it’s all about.”
