"Jon showed me how to speak without fear, Badu showed me how to speak with my heart, and André with my mind." - Zach Witness

While the spirit of the east is drenched in razor-sharp competition, the south (specifically Atlanta) has erected has a hub for music and C U L T U R E at large by way of boundless and uninhibited collaboration. Dallas' own, Zach Witness, spotted this first-hand upon entering a sacred studio space with Erykah Badu and Andre 3000, an unlikely assistant in helming a visceral collaboration of an Isley Brothers gem that would cap Badu's mixtape-turned-full-length-in-10-days-flat, But You Caint Use My Phone, a release that Witness was front-and-center in bringing to the world.

Nearly two years down the line, Witness has grown into the ATLien mold and plans to release his first solo project, Electric Revival: Rise of an Outkast Nation, this summer, a an album originally delivered to 3 Stacks as a birthday gift and a token of the young musician's reverence for the artist and his movement in sound. Today, we have the pleasure of bringing you the first offering from Electric Revival, a collaboration with off-kilter soulsmith (and recent Dallas transplant,) Jon Bap. The oscillating house cut slides from the alter to the dance floor with ease, with Bap as its from-the-gut lead, a voice Witness claimed via email "embodies what Electric Revival is all about: non-conformity, and being proud of who you are."

Zach Witness' Electric Revival: Rise of an Outkast Nation arrives on August 25th via Alpha Pup Records. Hear "Keep Faith" below and hit the link to pre-order your copy of the project ahead of its release.
