The radiant Esperanza Spalding shed her ultraviolet light on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night, performing not one but two songs off her new LP Radio Music Society. Replacing the customary 'moment of zen' with her own moment (or two) of jazzfunk nirvana, Espe closed out the show with "Crowned & Kissed" after playing some air bass with Jon--a star move usually reserved for Springsteen-level idols.
