We may have mentioned before that Denitia Odigie is the sh*t. This live clip of "Sleep" however, takes all the previous superlatives used about her and laughs at their smallness. This sh*t is pure magic, Denitia seducing the microphone like she was singing for the judge of History, even though she is clearly singing for a small but lucky contingent of hardcore fans at Arlene's Grocery in the LES. If a note-perfect performance like this makes you want to get up and punch something, don't.
