In between donning bespoke suits and baring his soul in the current issue of GQ magazine, D'Angelo plugged in to put down an impromptu performance of what sounds like Funkadelic's "Soul Mate" on the set of the photo shoot.  An amazing little moment of musical candor from the notoriously camera-shy singer.
