The LA-based singer is set to release a new independent album Songs For You.

Tinashe and 6LACK have released their latest R&B single "Touch & Go." This is Tinashe's newest track following the release of her pop-centric single "Die A Little Bit" with Ms Banks.

Paired together, the two sing about the feelings that emerge right before a breakup. As Tinashe prepares to turn over a new leaf in the industry after breaking ties with RCA Records, "Touch & Go" provides a peak into the direction she's planning on going. The emotionally honest track drives the point home that she will be rolling out R&B singles alongside experimental pop songs.

The LA native first introduced herself to the wider R&B landscape with the release of her debut album Aquarius in 2014. Since then she's also unveiled Nightride (2016) and Joyride (2018). Stereogum reports that Tinashe is gearing up to drop a new independent album, Songs For You.
