The Philadelphia battle rapper died in March.

The death of legendary battle rapper Tech9 has reportedly been ruled a suicide.

The Philadelphia native, born Akhiym Mickens, died at age 32 on March 24. Now, according toPhiladelphia Magazine, First Deputy Coroner Alexander Balacki says the cause of death was an overdose of the drug diphenhydramine— an antihistamine found in Benadryl.

In April, it was revealed that the rapper had been facing charges for alleged child porn and sexual assault offenses at the time of his death.

He was arrested on January 5 in Philadelphia and charged with possession of child pornography, indecent assault, indecent exposure and corruption of minors. Official court documents reportedly showed he had been due to be arraigned in Philadelphia’s Common Pleas Court on March 25.

After news of his death was reported in March, rappers Kendrick Lamar, Lupe Fiasco, and Denzel Curry shared their condolences on social media.
