Trigger warning: details of sexual assault ahead.
Snoop Doggis being sued by an Anaheim, California woman who alleges that Snoop and his associate Bishop Don “Magic” Juan sexually assaulted her after a concert in May 2013.
According to TMZ, the woman claims that Juan offered her a ride home following the concert, to which they arrived at his home. Although the woman says she was there against her will, she had fallen asleep and awakened at 4 AM the next morning. She says Juan “removed his penis from his pants and forced his penis” into her mouth.
The lawsuit proceeds to claim that the following day Juan took the woman to Snoop's studio where he allegedly cornered her in a bathroom stall and forced her into oral sex. The lawsuit then “proceeded to masturbate and ejaculated on [Jane Doe]’s upper chest and lower neck.”
Thereafter, the lawsuit claims that Juan attempted to take a photo of Doe and Snoop, to which Snoop declined to hire her as a 'weather girl' on his web series GGN.
Pitchfork reports that the woman is suing Snoop for a violation of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act, for sexual battery, and for sexual assault. The lawsuit also names defendants Gerber & Co, Inc.; the Broadus Collection, LLC; Casa Verde Capital, LLC; and Merry Jane Events, Inc.
While the lawsuit was filed in a California federal court on Wednesday, Snoop seemingly went to his Instagram to deny the claims, insinuating that the woman was a "gold digger".
Tomorrow, Snoop is slated to release his new album B.O.D.R. (Bacc on Death Row) and he'll be a headliner along with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Eminem during the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show on Sunday, February 13th.
