President Obama & Kendrick Lamar Both Cover Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off"

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon decided to lend a hand on election night, mashing President Obama's voting advice with Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off." His choice to spruce the track up was preceded by his lack of excitement about the repetitive directive "Vote!" directive that came from the President at a midterm rally. The result is a bouncy and infectious call to action that might have helped the Dems, had it surfaced a little sooner. Not to be outdone, Kendrick Lamar's Halloween performance of the song has also surfaced via FADER. Returning the love Swift has publicly displayed for his music, Kendrick shouted the singer out during a recent interview with the magazine before breaking into the chorus of the popular track. Check the footage below to watch the President Obama/Taylor Swift mashup from The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Scroll down to listen to audio of Kendrick's impromptu performance during the FADER interview. Purchase Taylor Swift's 1989 LP via iTunes. Stay tuned for more.
