Mixtape Mondays: LeFtO, Chairman Mao, DJ Spinna & Just Dizle

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

This is it - the final Mixtape Monday of the winter. Now that the end of our winter sadness is within reach, we can start preparing for some summer madness! But first things first, you came here for mixtapes and we've got some great ones this week.  LeFtO delivers his latest weekly mix of joints and jams. Chairman Mao dusts off some 45s your parents might've slow-danced to back in the day. Just Dizle and DJ Spinna team up for a monstrous tribute to some fallen hip-hop heroes.

LeFtO "Show#537"

Wait... Has LeFtO really done 537 of these weekly mixes? While we go off to find out the real story, listen to the Belgian DJ's latest mix featuring a wide range of music.  We're talking about that Earl Sweatshirt, Sun Ra, James Blake and Thelma Houston kinda range.  2 hours of something for just about everybody.

Chairman Mao "Across 135th Street Super Soul Ballad Power Hour(s)"

Chairman Mao of Ego Trip whipped up this mix of 70's soul ballads for Red Bull Music Academy Radio, and almost immediately we were transported to one of those blue-light basement parties circa '72.  Then we spotted our parents grinding in the corner. Ugh.

It's still a dope mix though.
