Listen To A Pair Of New Songs Off Michael Jackson's 'XSCAPE' - "Blue Gangsta" + "Loving You"

Michael Jackson's estate is treating us to a pair of new tracks from the upcoming posthumous release XSCAPEwith "Blue Gangsta" and "Loving You." Both tracks feature production from Timbaland, who at this point seems to clearly be bearing the brunt of the duties. "Blue Gangsta" features MJ's ferocious vocal treatment over a dire future-funk composition, loaded with Timbo's hallmark low-end, program-perfect drum-work and a heart-wrenching synth-scape with punctuating string arrangements in tow.

"Loving You" -- which was originally written and recorded in the sessions for Bad -- features added production from Timbo's frequent collaborator J-Roc, infusing the down-trot rocker with atmospheric textures, swooning piano licks and of course Michael's silky croon. The tandem of reworked gold are perfect follow-ups to the Justin Timberlake-aided duet "Love Never Felt So Good" and the dark slow groove "Chicago" -- also produced by Timbo -- both of which made their way to our welcoming ears in the past few weeks. Michael Jackson's posthumous XSCAPE LP will finally make its way to a device near you on May 13th, with a deluxe edition featuring all of the original recordings and some --ehem-- bonus material. Get your weekend started proper and listen to both "Blue Gangsta" and "Loving You" below.
