Lupe Fiasco Takes Record Execs To Task on "N.E.R.D."

In the days since J. Cole released his new album 4 Your Eyez Only, the North Carolinian rapper has become the easy target of quite a few clap-back verses. Most of these have come by way of Wale, who's released not one or two, but three retaliations over the last week. Why? Your guess is as good as ours. But in any case, it appears Lupe Fiasco has hopped onto the subliminals train. Today the Chicago MC has turned in a piar of verses over Cole's "Everybody Dies," where he takes aim at budding rappers more than Cole himself, pleaing with listeners and execs to stop pitting MCs against one another.

Earlier this month, Lupe was blessed with an impromptu appearance from the mighty Bill Murray at a show in Austin, where the comedian demanded an encore before Fiasco left the stage. All accounts of that night are pretty great and deserve to be revisited if it slipped under your radar. Hear Lupe Fiasco take record executives to task on his flip of J.Cole's "Everybody Dies" down below and catch him on the road in the weeks ahead.
