To say that this new Lee Bannon EP is a surprise out of left field might imply that there's ever any advance warning leading up to a Lee Bannon project. So I'll just say the Brooklyn based producer does his usual and hits us with some new shit today. Shortly after announcing his recent signing to UK label, Ninja Tune, Bannon drops a free EP titled, Place/Crusher. 1 track, 22 minutes, all dope. Fans of the experimental producer should already know to expect a sonic journey from start to finish as he weaves soundscapes into an unidentifiable genre of his own. This is just the warm up though, in un-Bannon like fashion, we do have a solid release date for his next project, a full-length album, Alternate Endings, which is set to drop on December 9th. I've also heard word that Lee and OKP regular Sunni Colòn have been puttin' in work in the stu, hopefully we'll hear more on that front soon, as well.
