Questlove has found a way to grow his already massive Instagram presence, partnering with the social network for its brand new in-house @music account.

@music will function just like a typical user profile on the photo-sharing network. However, the account is managed by Instagram's own content managers and will parter with social-savvy musicians to bring interesting new images (and, of course, sounds) to its 300 million strong user base.

"Today were launching @music, a new account dedicated to exploring music around the globe, from those who create it to the community around it. Each week, well take a look at the musical experience on Instagram. That means showing you a different side of artists you know and love, like Questlove (@questlove), and introducing you to up-and-coming talents from around the world, like Tricot (@ikkyu193). It means highlighting music photographers, album illustrators, instrument makers and, of course, fans," Instagram wrote in the profile's inaugural post.

Questlove's presence is already a part of @music. The Roots crew drummer and prolific photo-sharer provided a photo and its brief backstory just after the profile's inaugural post.

According to Billboard, users can expect six posts per week from @music, and that content on the new feed will eventually brim with international artists. "Since 70 percent of Instagrams activity comes from international users, @music will be equally focused on shining a light on foreign talent," the magazine reported.
