D'Angelo, Jill Scott, Mark Ronson & The Weeknd All Net 2015 Soul Train Awards Nominations

Barely a day after it was announced that Common, R. Kelly and Babyface would headline a massive Soul Train weekend 2015 show in Las Vegas, BET has now unveiled their official awards nominees. D'Angelo, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Jill Scott, Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar have all netted multiple nods, with Black Messiah apparently blazing a trail for politically charged, musician-lead funk in our modern era.

Read the full list of nominees below. The 2015 Soul Train Awards will be taped on November 6th and are due to air November 29th at 8 p.m. EST on Centric and BET.
