Singer/songwriter/composer/keyboardist/trombonist Corey King has long since established himself via work with the likes of DJ Prmeier, Pharoahe Monch, Kweli, Bilal, Gil-Scott Heron and more, and now he’s gearing up to showcase his own work with a new solo album.

The album, Lashes, is highly personal and draws from his childhood experiences as well as many of the political and social issues of today.
