PBS' Antiques Roadshow makes a stop in the Motor City where appraiser Laura Woolley comes across a Motown fan with a 1964 passport belonging to Marvin Gaye. The recent episode of the popular show profiling people and their collectibles finds a bit of soul music history in a rather unlikely place; The gentleman in the segment reveals that he found the ID in an album sleeve. The record was purchased for 50 cents at an estate sale following the death of a local musician. The proud owner of the Marvin Gaye passport more than doubles his money when Woolley estimates the value to be at least $20,000. Check the footage below to watch the full segment.
