Ring. Ding. Dong! Wake the town and tell the people, The Roots have announced the line-up for the 5th annual Roots Picnic. In this corner: The Roots, Kid Cudi, De La Soul (backed by The Roots!), Wale, Major Lazer, Diplo, St. Vincent, The Tune-Yards, Danny Brown, Shabazz Palaces, Moosh & Twist, Flosstradamus, Stretch Armstrong, The Hood Internet, Star Slinger, Mr. MFN Exquire, Kids These Days, Chill Moody, DJ Diamond Kuts and hold up--we're gonna need a 2nd day.

It's all going off on June 2nd and 3rd at the festival pier at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, PA. If the names printed above are not incentive enough, you may recall some of the mind-bendingly good performances from last year.
