Tommaso Cappellato celebrates the debut of his highly-anticipated Aforemention LP with the premiere of his official video for “Team Ball” featuring Victor Lewis.
The kit-heavy clip directed by Emanuele Wiltsch Barberio coincides with the release of the project, which is out now on Mark de Clive-Lowe’s Ropeadope Records imprint Mashibeats Records. The video follows the Tommaso Cappellato Mixtape Vol. 1 and Cappellato’s latest single “Fly” featuring Nia Andrews. A proper primer for the 9-track project, the video features Cappellato armed to the teeth at a monstrous kit outfitted with synths and controllers. Seated squarely at the intersection of techno and jazz, he sweats out a one-take live performance that singlehandedly elevates the art of percussion for all of the true drum-heads.
