Timbaland Announces First-Ever Mixtape 'King Stays King' feat. Unreleased Aaliyah Track + More

Timbaland Announces First-Ever Mixtape 'King Stays King' feat. Unreleased Aaliyah Tracks

For all intents and purposes, Timbaland has spent 2015 racking up another glorious grip of hits. We've heard him and new protege Tink light up the internets with cut after cut throughout much of the year, and more recently provide the sonic suite for Pusha T's "Untouchable," even releasing a book of his industry tales over a near three-decades in the game. But this holiday season will mark a rare occasion for the legendary Virginian, as he plans to release his very first mixtape on Christmas Day, featuring a slew of unheard material from a litany of collaborators. But more pressingly, highly-coveted unreleased material from the late Aaliyah, whose talents still haunt the modern r&b game. King Stays King will arrive just in time to curl up by the fireside, featuring 16-songs that should pique the interests of the new and seasoned traveler alike. Nothing but the album cover has been released, but if you were looking for a quiet break, Timbaland's got other plans for your holidaze. Peep the album cover down below and hold tight for the imminent dope-ness that is to come next week.
