For this evening’s OKP premiere, we check in with Chicago duo, theWHOevers. In a crowded hip-hop scene, J. Arthur and Dotkom have carved out a nice lane for themselves in the Chi. For those that may be new to theWHOevers, their video for “No Way” (featuring Erthe St. James) serves as the perfect intro to their sound. Says Dotkom of the song: "My verse is basically metaphorically speaking for the most part. It’s about never giving up without a fight… Doing the most with what you got… And real life social problems the world is facing so be aware (the block is hot the cops cold blooded buckin assuming something/lives lost over nothin’, authoritarian holocaust is comin, and ya’ll frontin).” Let theWHOevers drop that knowledge on you, below, with Erthe St. James supplying that butter smooth hook.
