The Black Opera teams with Georgia Anne Muldrow and Tall Black Guy to debut the new single "Beginning Of The End" from their forthcoming The Great Year LP, due out September 30th via Mello Music Group. The track follows their previous singles "Behold The Opera" and "No Water." "Beginning Of The End" is a stunning movement plucked from the impending black mass that boasts a post-apocalyptic libretto and crisp boom-bap breaks. A lingering mezzo-soprano blends with a haunting, hazy vocal performance that finds Georgia channeling a host of influences, from the chants of lucumí and santeria to the stringent harmonies of the time-honored negro spiritual and quite possibly Billie Holiday's "Strange Fruit." Priming the palettes of fans for their highly-anticipated release, TBO ensures that the spaced-out future forward aesthetic of their earlier releases remains a constant as their narrative progresses:
