Tall Black Guy Chops MJ On New Instrumental "Far From Human"

Tall Black Guy has set to work upon one of the most beloved cuts of Michael Jackson's career, the unimpeachable "Human Nature," and turned out a wild new piece of hip-hop. Twisting the song's signature keyboard melody just so and deploying drums dating back to BT Express, TBG's flip sways back and forth, daring one to stay seated in the face of infectious rhythms. Dubbed "Far From Human," the re-work is indeed starkly different from the original Michael masterpiece--but therein lies the joy. "Human Nature" is so lush with great tones that it's a catalog unto itself; TBG already flipped it once in the past, and we can't forget Just Blaze's remix, along with that certain special Nas number.

In fact we have Just Blaze to thank for this new number. On his Soundcloud page, TBG wrote "I was super inspired by Just Blaze's flip of MJ's - Human Nature. I wanted to give it another shot." His second shot is sure, full of tasteful electric piano, phased-out synth melodies and of course that boat-rocking beat. We just heard from Tall Black Guy last month on the excellent Thing Leaves The House compilation, but it's reassuring to know that he's not taking any breathers. Listen to "More Than Human" below.
