Stretch And Bobbito's Classic Hip-Hop Radio Doc Is Now Viewable Online

For some weeks now, NYC hip-hop radio legends Stretch and Bobbito have been celebrating the release of Radio That Changed Lives, a new documentary dedicated to their hugely important (and just flat-out fun as hell) contribution to music. Both on and off the air, DJ Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia championed classic cuts and new fledgling artists on their WKCR show. From 1990-1998 they helped to break MCs like Notorious B.I.G. and Busta Rhymes; they haven't just seen and heard it all--Stretch and Bobbito helped make it all happen.

Radio That Changed Lives received a limited theatrical release earlier this year, but now the documentary is available for online viewing via Vimeo, for either limited rental or permanent ownership. The latter option is only $13, and is certainly a bargain, given the price of movie tickets nowadays. Replete with interviews from Nas, Jay-Z and of course Stretch and Bobbito themselves, it's a perfect trip down memory lane for older heads, and an excellent refresher course on the golden true-school era for those who were too young to experience it first-hand. Watch the clip below. You're going to have to pull out your wallet, but we assure you it's well worth treating yourself.
