So like we was telling you the other day, elusive musical genius Shuggie Otis is putting out a new, 2-disc LP project called Inspiration Information/Wings Of Love, which (as the title might suggest) comprises both an official restored re-release of his seminal Inspiration Information album–including 4 previously unheard tracks recorded around the time of the original sessions–and a disc 2 full of new and unreleased material, both live and studio outtakes (that’s the Wings Of Love part). That is two mouthfuls of inspiring information all by itself but today we get some intense inspiration visualization as well. OKP is proud to provide this exclusive sneak peek into the project with this mini-documentary interview clip of Shuggie breaking down the creative process behind one of those unheard tracks a jewel from the original album (and the B-side to the “Inspiration Information” 45) “Aht Uh Mi Hed.” Legacy music and team Shuggie were also kind enough to share with us this amazing gallery of archival photos (above) from the personal collection of the Otis family, along with some new instant-classic  portraits by Adam Farber to give you the view from both ends of the time machine, so to speak. Click through those above, watch the video below and–if you have not let Shuggie into your life before now, get a hit of the original “Inspiration Information” at bottom. Then hit the link to pre-order the double album:
