Run The Jewels x Michael Winslow - "Oh My Darling Don't Cry"

Run The Jewels drops a sizzling new sonic with the release of "Oh My Darling Don't Cry" featuring the human beatbox Michael Winslow. Folks that weren't all too taken by the lead-off single from the forthcoming RTJ2 LP, will find solace in a return to form for Killer Mike and El-P, as they loop in Winslow as the robot voice (something he perfected in his Police Academy days) for this booming frequency freaker. It's amongst the very last blappers to drop as part of Adult Swim's Summer Single Series, but it's a formidable one nonetheless, with glitchy synth treatments and a booming break for heads to knock.

There's a whole lot to look forward to from the RTJ camp, announcing a Fall tour with NYC's contemporary underground RATKINGs and dropping their surprisingly EDM-tinged single "Blockbuster Night Part 1" just last month.
