With the deluxe edition of their debut landing at midnight tonight, PRhyme (BKA DJ Premier & Royce Da 5'9") have been making these last few weeks awfully interesting. Yesterday we heard Joey Bada$$ toast to the new "Golden Era." Weeks before that Phonte and the mythical MF DOOM surfaced on "Highs And Lows."
Today, however, we have a very special treat for you from that much-anticipated release; a blazing remix of the album cut "Wishin'" featuring some blistering bars from our very own Black Thought. The track opens up with a thoughtful dedication to the late Rich Nichols from Preemo, sending his love and words to the whole Illa Fifth crew over some very psychedelic soul chops. Once the salute comes to an end, Tariq jumps in and manhandles the track as only he can, proving once and for all that after damn-near 30 years in the game, he's still got one of the meanest sixteens out.
