Earlier this year, Paul Simon released his thirteenth studio album, Stranger to Stranger. Now The Social Experiment's Nico Segal (formerly known as Donnie Trumpet) and Nate Fox have turned in dreamy reinterpretation of two Simon album cuts, "The Werewolf" and "The Clock," (surely inspired by episodes of Seinfeld) aptly-dubbing it "Stranger."
Segal stated today that Simon has been a constant source inspiration throughout his career, and though he's spent much of the year on the road as the MD in Chance The Rapper's band, this could be a sign that there's more on the way. Whether a proper follow-up to 2015's Surf is in the works has yet to be revealed, but for now, this should be more than enough to hold you over. Hear Nico Segal and Nate Fox's "Stranger" down below and revisit their triumphant debut album Surf on iTunes today.
