The pieces are starting to fall into place for Marvel’s upcoming sure-to-be-hit film Black Panther. While the film isn’t set for theatrical release until early 2018, we’re already getting some reasons to get excited. We already knowCreed’s Ryan Coogler will be directing the film, while it’s been looking likeLupita Nyong’o will be joining the cast, Michael B. Jordan recently confirmed her involvement as well as his own. Says Jordan:

I’m super excited, especially to put a different spin on it. I’m looking forward to working with Ryan [Coogler] once again. It’s gonna be a good time.

The confirmation of Lupita’s involvement came in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter when he was asked about actors he’s most excited about working with:

Lupita Nyong’o and Chadwick Boseman [in Black Panther]

This would be a reunion of Jordan and Coogler after having past worked together on Creed as well as Fruitvale Station. While outside of Chadwick we’re still guessing as to everyone’s specific roles - this one’s going to be a must see when it drops (that trailer can’t come soon enough). For now, you can enjoy your preview of the Black Panther character in the latest Marvel release, Captain America: Civil War, which is in theaters now.
