Omarosa Manigault-Newman's time as a government employee has come to an end. Omarosa, who was communications director of the White House’s Office of Public Liaison, was fired from her job on Tuesday.
The news wasn't announced until Wednesday morning. However, when it was first announced, the story was that Manigault-Newman was resigning from her post. As the day went on, and reporters were getting info from their sources, it was revealed that Omarosa was fired. And apparently, she made quite the scene in the process.
The report is that after finding out she was being forced out, Omarosa tried to make her way to residency room to make her case directly to President Donald Trump, her old The Apprentice buddy. Staff were able to stop and escort her off the White House campus.
