OKP Premiere: Add-2 Toys With Time In "Stop Play Rewind" Featuring Rapsody

Things aren't quite what they seem in Add-2's new video for "Stop Play Rewind". We open in an apartment, personal effects strewn about the empty floor, and it's clear that all is not well. The Chicago MC, whose given name is Andre DiJuan Daniels, is moving... in reverse. Quick and jarring, the Cam Be-directed visual plays out like Memento, taking us gradually back in time and showing us just how much abuse Add can take. It's a hypnotizing piece of work, and perfectly suits the winding piano-laden beat that Khrysis bestowed upon the track.

And yet, there's more. Joining Add-2 for this time-warp session is his fellow Jamla Records artist Rapsody, who drops a verse so inventive it won't leave your head for days. "Riley Curry the game / I'm not amused by your questionnaires" is really all you need to know. This one's the real deal through and through.

"Stop Play Rewind" appears on Add-2's most recent Prey For The Poor LP, which dropped earlier this fall. It features, in addition to Rapsody, Raheem DeVaughn, Jamila Woods, Sam Trump and many more, and you most certainly should pick it up over on iTunes.
