Yup. Local legends turned intergalactic legends Hypnotic Brass Ensemble are descending on the world-famous Blue Note cafe in full force one week from today (Friday, May 4th). The show is billed as a premiere of "a new all-jazz album through a joint venture in U.S." (as described by Cid from HBE) and titled Hypnotic Brass Live In Concert: Jazz, Volume 1. Promises to be pretty history-making--especially considering all the history that's carried in those two little words ('blue' and 'note'). We'll keep you apprised of more details on the LP as we get them but I happen to know that quiet as kept some other big things are in the works with Hypnotic. Too soon to speak on yet but let's just say it involves lots of glass and metal. Find full details after the jump, and in the 2-sided flyer (above and below).
