Massive Attack Frighten & Thrill In A Dystopian Clip For "Voodoo In My Blood"
Late last month, trip-hop pioneers, Massive Attack, shocked the world with the surprise release of their Ritual Spirit EP (their first since 2010's Heligoland.) And while the four-track project serves as more of a placeholder for what we expect to be a full-fledged album at some point in 2016, its release, paired with sightings at Banksy's Dismaland installation and contributions to Run The Jewels' Meow The Jewels remix album, seems to point towards a resurgence if we've ever seen one.
Today, the prized team shares a thrilling (if not downright frightening) new clip for the song "Voodoo In My Blood," featuring the talents of Young Fathers. The Ringan Ledwidge-directed visual follows a lone woman's encounter with a mystical (and quite powerful) metallic orb that does not have her best intentions in its artificial mind. You can watch the latest piece of eye candy from Massive Attack below. Grab a copy of their Ritual Spirit EP on iTunes today and scroll down to peep their full list of live shows.
